Speaking on the occasion, the President of BFSA, Dr. Muhammad Nazrul Islam, said, "This partnership between EBL and BFSA is special because the relationship between the two organisations dates back to 2018 with the launching of a co-brand credit card. With the signing of today's agreement for exclusive payroll banking services featuring a diverse range of customised loan facilities and an array of other value-added financial solutions, this relationship reaches a new height. We are happy to partner with EBL, Bangladesh's first bank to be rated by the international rating agency Moody's, which has distinguished itself for its ethical banking and world-class corporate governance."

Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of EBL, said, "We are proud to collaborate with the Bangladesh Foreign Service Association in offering tailored payroll banking solutions. This partnership underscores our commitment to providing seamless and innovative financial services that cater to Bangladesh's esteemed foreign service professionals' unique needs. At EBL, we strive to deliver banking excellence and empower our customers with world-class financial solutions."

BFSA senior officials and executive committee members, including EBL DMD and Head of Retail and SME Banking M Khorshed Anowar, Head of Business Syed Zulkar Nayen, Head of Communications and External Affairs Ziaul Karim, and Head of Payroll Banking Trisha Taklim, were present, among others, on the occasion.
