Dr Mosaddek elected BPHCDOA president, Dr Shamim general secretary
Dr Mohammad Mosaddek Hossain Biswas Dambel has been elected as President, and Dr A M Shamim as General Secretary of the Bangladesh Private Hospital, Clinic and Diagnostic Owners Association (BPHCDOA) for the 2025–2027 term.
The Election Commission announced that 25 valid nominations were elected unopposed to the 25-member executive committee. Dr Mahbubur Rahman Liton was elected as Senior Vice President, while Professor Dr Salauddin Al Azad was elected as Treasurer.
The election took place on 1 June 2025, with participation from prominent hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centres across the country. These included LabAid Hospital, Evercare Hospital, United Hospital, Square Hospital, Ibn Sina, Medinova Centre, Bangladesh Specialised Hospital, Fazlul Haque Collaborative Hospital, among others.

The newly elected committee is expected to lead the association in addressing pressing issues within the private healthcare sector and advocating for improved services, standardisation, and collaboration across the industry.
