Dhaka Bank, Robi roll out co-branded credit cards with VISA
Dhaka Bank has launched co-branded credit cards with Robi Axiata PLC for Robi Elite customers, marking a collaboration between a private commercial bank and a leading digital connectivity provider.
The launch took place on 19 January 2026 in Dhaka. The event was attended by Osman Ershad Faiz, Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC; Ziad Shatara, CEO and Managing Director of Robi Axiata; and Sabbir Ahmed, Country Manager of VISA Bangladesh.
Speaking at the event, Osman Ershad Faiz said Dhaka Bank continues to focus on technology-driven services and aims to expand access to digital banking through partnerships with Robi and VISA. He said the initiative aligns with the bank's commitment to offering modern banking solutions and supporting broader digital adoption.

Ziad Shatara said the co-branded credit cards are designed to deliver a global experience for Robi Elite customers, including benefits for international travel and roaming. He said the collaboration will help customers remain connected while travelling abroad, particularly during peak travel seasons such as Eid and Hajj.
Sabbir Ahmed said VISA is pleased to strengthen its collaboration with Dhaka Bank and Robi, adding that the cards will offer secure global payment access along with privileges such as lounge facilities, priority services and special travel-related benefits.
Dhaka Bank Robi Elite Signature Credit Card holders will receive benefits including a first-year issuance fee waiver, complimentary airport pick-and-drop service, unlimited access to the Balaka Executive Lounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, access to over 1,600 international airport lounges under the LoungeKey programme, fine dining offers, reward points, international roaming activation and accidental insurance coverage of up to Tk40 lakh.
Meanwhile, Platinum and Tayyebah Islamic Platinum co-branded cardholders will enjoy benefits such as annual fee waivers for the first three years, complimentary airport lounge access, dining offers, reward points, international roaming activation and similar insurance coverage.
Senior officials from Dhaka Bank, Robi Axiata and VISA, including A K M Shahnawaj, Md Mostaque Ahmed, Akhlaqur Rahman, H M Mostafizur Rahaman, Shihab Ahmad, Md Showkat Kader Chowdhury, Manik Lal Das and Arifur Rahman, were also present at the launch event.
