CUET bids farewell to ME-19 batch

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) held a farewell ceremony for its ME-19 batch on August 3, 2025, at the IT Business Incubator auditorium.

CUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan was the chief guest. Special guests included the Dean of Mechanical and Manufacturing, Professor Dr Kazi Afzalur Rahman, and the Director of Student Welfare, Professor Dr Mahbubul Alam.

Addressing the gathering were distinguished faculty members, including Professor Dr Badius Salam, Professor Dr Sajal Chandra Banik, Professor Dr Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Professor Dr Sanaul Rabbi, Professor Dr Prosanjit Das, Professor Dr Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem, Professor Dr Mamunur Rashid, and Professor Dr Tilak Kumar Das.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Kamal Bhuiyan, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, presided over the ceremony.

Outgoing students Saurav Dev, Mahbuba Laila Proma, and Tanbir Ahmed Chowdhury shared reflections on behalf of their batch. The event was moderated by Ahad Bin Azad and Saima Islam Saba from the 20th batch.
