Community Bank partners Project 2morrow to boost inclusive financing
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Project 2morrow Software Ltd to bolster inclusive financing initiatives and enhance customer onboarding via digital financial systems.
According to the bank, the partnership will integrate financial advisory services and technology-driven processes to broaden access to formal financial services among diverse customer segments nationwide.
Under the MoU, Project 2morrow Software will serve as a strategic financial advisory and digital solutions partner to Community Bank. The collaboration will focus on simplifying and digitising customer onboarding, reinforcing inclusive financing frameworks, and improving service efficiency through digital platforms, the bank added. It is expected to enhance customer experience, accelerate service delivery, and promote financial inclusion.
The MoU was signed by Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (current charge) of Community Bank Bangladesh, and SKM Shariful Alam, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Project 2morrow Software, at the bank's head office boardroom.
Senior officials present included Shamsul Haque Sufyani, Chief Operating Officer; Md Tanjim Morshed Bhuiyan, CITO and Head of Digital Financial Services and Deputy Head of RMD; Dr Md Ariful Islam, Head of Corporate Banking and Head of Business (Branch); Sarfuddin Md Redwan Patwary, Head of Operations; SK Perves Maraker, Head of Agent Banking and Foreign Remittance Transaction Banking and SBU; Hossain-Al-Safeer Chowdhury, Head of SME; Sharif Hasan Mamun, Head of Agriculture; and Md Mamun ur Rahman, Head of ADC and Head of MD's Coordination Team, along with other officials.
The bank stated that the collaboration will support its digital transformation agenda and foster inclusive financial growth in Bangladesh.
