Community Bank holds workshop on A-Challan operations
Community Bank Training Academy organised a day-long workshop on A-Challan business acquisition and operations at the bank's head office in Dhaka.
The training aimed to strengthen employees' understanding of the Automated Challan System and support efficient collection of government revenue through digital channels, according to a press release.
Shamsul Haque Sufyani, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, inaugurated the workshop as chief guest.
He highlighted the importance of digital integration in facilitating government revenue collection through A-Challan. He also reaffirmed the bank's commitment to improving operational efficiency and customer experience through technology upgrades.
Afterwards, AKM Mukhleshur Rahman, Senior Functional Consultant; Sharifur Rahman, Senior IT Consultant; and Md Jobayer Ahammad, Junior Consultant, from the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance conducted the technical and operational sessions.
They discussed the system's functional framework, the integration of the CBS-iBAS++ application programming interface, security, and over-the-counter A-Challan transactions.
The inauguration was attended by the bank's Chief Business Officer, Chief Information and Technology Officer, Head of Transaction Banking, Chief Financial Officer, Head of Treasury, and other senior officials and participants.
The workshop concluded with interactive feedback and evaluation sessions to support effective implementation across the bank's branches.
