Community Bank Bangladesh holds 7th annual general meeting
At its seventh annual general meeting, held at Police Headquarters, Dhaka, on Sunday, 21 June, Community Bank Bangladesh PLC approved its audited financial statements for 2025 and declared a cash dividend.
Md Ali Hossain Fakir, Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh and Chairman of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, presided over the meeting.
Addressing shareholders, Md Ali Hossain Fakir said Community Bank serves both the Bangladesh Police and the wider public.
He noted that the bank's growth would be driven by community-focused, innovative products and smart banking solutions accessible to all segments of society.
He added that Community Bank would continue to enhance its business and customer experience through technology-driven products and service innovations, particularly for remote and marginalised communities, while prioritising human resource development to foster a "service first" culture.
The meeting was attended by A K M Awlad Hossain, Md Akram Hossain, Md Sibgat Ullah, Sarder Nurul Amin, Kazi Md Fazlul Karim, Md Kamrul Ahsan, Muntashirul Islam, Ahmad Muyeed, Kamrul Hasan Talukdar, Syed Rafiqul Haq, Mohammed Tofazzul Hussain, Shamsul Haque Sufyani, and Saiful Alam.
