Club Notredamians Bangladesh concludes pool, snooker tournament
Club Notredamians Bangladesh Limited wrapped up its Pool and Snooker Ranking Tournament 2026 with a prize-giving ceremony at the Fr Peixotto Banquet Hall on 2 July.
The President of Club Notredamians Bangladesh Limited Syed Abu Naser Bukhtear Ahmed attended the event as the chief guest.
Fifty-seven club members participated in the tournament, competing in two disciplines.

In the nine-ball pool category, Fahim Feroz from Batch 2002 won first place, with Tanim Md Mashrur Alam of Batch 2002 taking second and Forhad Hossain of Batch 2005 finishing third.
M Mahfuzur Rahman of Batch 1995 was named Emerging Nine-ball Pool Player of the Year 2026.
In the 10-red snooker discipline, Tanim Md Mashrur Alam of Batch 2002 took first place, followed by Forhad Hossain of Batch 2005 in second and Ashwar Hossain of Batch 1998 in third.
Md Mahabubul Hoque of Batch 1994 was named Emerging Snooker Player of the Year 2026.
"Such sporting events not only strengthen friendship and fellowship among club members but also provide an excellent platform to showcase talent and sporting excellence," said President Syed Abu Naser Bukhtear Ahmed. He expressed hope that more such tournaments would be organised regularly.
Executive Committee Member for Sports Abu Saleh Md Sayem conducted the event, which was attended by executive committee members, players and invited guests.
Club Notredamians Bangladesh Limited thanked its corporate partners, including Concord Group, Elite Hi-tech Industries, Notre Dame '91 Batch, Tripnest, Travel Architect, Fantasy Kingdom, Foy's Lake Concord, Grabgo, ACME, Feroz Skin Care and Turkish Adana Kabab, as well as club members for their support in making the tournament a success.
