City Bank and Footsteps support 120 families after korail fire
In the wake of the recent fire at Korail Slum, Footsteps Bangladesh, in partnership with The City Bank PLC, has stepped forward to support affected families.
Through the collaboration, 120 fire-affected households received essential relief items to help them cope with the immediate aftermath of the disaster.
Under the joint initiative, each family was provided with one week's worth of groceries, hygiene materials, blankets, and medicines. The support aims not only to address urgent needs but also to help restore dignity, hygiene, and well-being in the critical days following the incident.
"Our hearts go out to every individual and family impacted by this tragic fire," said a representative of Footsteps Bangladesh. "We believe that even small acts of solidarity can make a difference in a moment of crisis."
The initiative reflects The City Bank PLC's ongoing commitment to community welfare and its efforts to stand beside families during emergencies. Footsteps Bangladesh said it remains dedicated to working with partners to deliver timely and impactful support to communities affected by disasters.
