Citizens Bank inaugurates Lohagara branch in Chattogram
Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director, Citizens Bank PLC, recently inaugurated the bank's Lohagara branch in Chattogram as chief guest.
Md Saiful Islam, Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Lohagara Upazila, attended the event as special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Hossain said the new branch will offer a full range of banking solutions to meet customers' evolving financial needs. He also reiterated the bank's focus on the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector, citing customised financing, working capital support, trade finance facilities, and advisory services aimed at helping local entrepreneurs expand and improve competitiveness.

He added that customers would benefit from the bank's digital banking services, including mobile and online banking, enabling secure, efficient transactions.
Saiful Islam spoke about current conditions in the country's banking sector and said banks play an important role in maintaining financial stability through prudent lending, supporting productive sectors, and facilitating investment and trade.
Deputy Managing Directors Md Mostafizur Rahman and Md Abdul Latif, other senior officials, local businesspeople, and professionals from the area also attended the event.
