BYLC Chattogram Ideation Challenge Bootcamp wraps up

The two-day BYLC Chattogram Ideation Challenge Bootcamp wrapped up on Saturday, offering aspiring young entrepreneurs a platform to refine their ideas and prepare them for the journey ahead.
Organised by the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC), the bootcamp was part of the broader Chattogram Ideation Challenge programme, designed to nurture youth-led innovation through mentorship, skills development, and funding opportunities.
Following a rigorous selection process, 75 participants representing 27 promising teams were chosen to attend the bootcamp. Over two days, they engaged in interactive sessions covering design thinking, product development, marketing strategies, budgeting, and investment practices—guiding them from concept to market readiness.
The sessions were led by prominent industry professionals, including Waliullah Bhuiyan, Founder of Light of Hope and Goofi; Ishmam Chowdhury, COO of Shikho; Barisha Rabbi, COO of Memento Professional Services; Shadab Shaeri Ahmed, Product Owner at Optimizely; Rafiqul Alam Khan, Manager of BYLC Ventures; and Habibullah Tamim, Regional Manager of BYLC.
Following the training, selected teams will present their refined ideas in a pitch round. The top three teams will each receive a grant of Tk 1 lakh and enter an eight-week incubation programme under BYLC's guidance. Of these, one final champion will be awarded an additional Tk 4 lakh to further scale their venture.
The bootcamp was supported by the Netherlands Embassy and hosted in partnership with the Startup and Innovation Foundry at East Delta University, underscoring a shared commitment to advancing youth entrepreneurship in the Chattogram region.
