The Business Standard and HerWILL partner to promote gender equality
HerWILL, a USA-based non-profit dedicated to empowering women and underrepresented youth, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Business Standard, leading business daily in Bangladesh, to drive impactful discussions and initiatives on gender equality, financial literacy, and leadership development.
As part of this partnership, The Business Standard will support HerWILL's mission to advance Sustainable Development Goal 5 (Gender Equality) by promoting education, mentorship, STEM training, and leadership programmes for women and youths.
Both organisations will collaborate on workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns focused on women's leadership, financial literacy, and STEM education, fostering equal opportunities. Additionally, they will engage in resource-sharing by exchanging research, insights, and educational materials to strengthen their common goals.
