BUFT national cultural fest showcases youth creativity
Twelve Clothing Presents BUFT National Cultural Fest 2026 took place on 4 January 2026, organised by the Cultural Club of BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology.
The day-long festival provided a vibrant platform for youth creativity, inter-university cultural exchange, and campus culture.
One of the key highlights of the programme was the inter-university cultural competition, which featured participation from 12 selected universities from across the country. A total of 18 awards were presented across six categories: music, dance, drama, fine arts, creative writing, and recitation. The champions were American International University–Bangladesh in music and recitation; Jashore University of Science and Technology in dance; the University of Dhaka in drama and creative writing; and Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology in fine arts.

Special attractions of the festival included a fashion runway show, themed stalls, and flash mobs, reflecting BUFT's identity in fashion and creative expression.
The audience was further energised by a live performance by the popular band Highway.
