BSMMU hosts workshop on hepatology and gastroenterology

 At the lecture hall of BSMMU's Super Specialised Hospital, Dr. Associate Professor Dr Nazneen Sultana Ahmed, MD, gave a lecture and keynote presentation at the Meet the Expert, organised as part of the Master's Class of foreign expert teachers and doctors on Hepatology and Gastroenterology.

BSMMU's Department of Hepatology and Gastroenterology organised this Meet the Expert (Hepatology and Gastroenterology Masters Class) higher education programme. BSMMU's Honourable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr  Shahinul Alam, spoke as the chief guest.

During this time, the gastroenterology department chairman, Professor Dr Md. Dewan Saifuddin Ahmed, Professor Dr Masudur Rahman Khan, Assistant Professor Dr ABM Shafiullah, Hepatology Department teacher Dr Saiful Islam Elin, and others were present.
Honourable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr  Shahinul Alam said, "This is the first time in this country that such a higher education program on hepatology and gastroenterology is being held not only in this university but also in this country.

This kind of organisation aims to promote higher education, medical services and research in medical fields in cooperation with higher medical educational institutions in the country and abroad." It will contribute significantly to raising the world standard.

It will further enrich the knowledge base about the latest advances in all aspects of medical science.
