BMW brings hybrid luxury to Bangladesh with new X3

BMW Bangladesh has unveiled the G45 BMW X3 xDrive30e Plug-in Hybrid, the latest generation of its popular Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), combining bold design, increased dimensions, and cutting-edge hybrid technology.
The new X3 is longer and wider than its predecessor, measuring 4,755 mm in length and 1,920 mm in width, giving it a more assertive presence on the road. Key exterior highlights include the signature split kidney grille with optional illumination, L-shaped LED headlights, and BMW's dynamic light carpet, which offers a distinctive visual identity.
Inside, the vehicle features a wraparound dashboard, three-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, and the BMW Curved Display, which combines a 12.3-inch information screen and a 14.9-inch control display. Standard comfort features include acoustic glazing and electrically adjustable sport seats.
The plug-in hybrid model is powered by a four-cylinder petrol engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 299 hp and an all-electric range of up to 90 kilometres (WLTP). The high-voltage battery has nearly double the capacity of the previous version, designed to enhance daily efficiency and driving comfort.
Practicality has also been enhanced, with the X3 now offering up to 1,600 litres of luggage space. Features such as a redesigned centre console, wireless charging, automatic tailgate, and split-folding rear seats make the vehicle more versatile for active lifestyles.
Optional features include a panoramic sunroof, Harman Kardon surround sound system, steering wheel heating, and the BMW IconicSounds Electric audio experience. The vehicle is available with BMW's latest connectivity and driver-assist features, making it both a performance vehicle and a luxury commuter.
The launch marks BMW's continued push toward electrified luxury in the Bangladesh market, combining sustainability with premium performance.
