Bkash campaign hands prizes to six travel payment winners
Six customers have won prizes including a Nepal trip, a Cox's Bazar tour and luxury hotel staycations by making the highest volume of bKash payments on flight and bus ticket purchases and hotel bookings during October and November.
During the campaign period, travellers also received cashback, discounts and coupons of up to Tk4,000 on bKash payments.
A prize-giving ceremony was recently held at the head office of bKash, where prize tokens were handed over to the winners. The programme was attended by Nafiz Chowdhury, head of marketing of ShareTrip; Saadman Salahuddin, director of marketing of InterContinental Dhaka; Sohan Minhaj Hasan, general manager of merchant payments at bKash; and other senior officials.
To encourage the use of digital payments in travel-related services, bKash jointly introduced the campaign with ShareTrip, Amy Travel and InterContinental Dhaka.
The campaign began on 1 October 2025 and will continue until 31 January 2026. Based on the highest amount of bKash payments, a total of 12 winners will be selected during the four-month period, with three winners chosen each month. As part of this process, prizes were handed over to six winners from October and November.
