Bengal Commercial Bank steps into 5th year

Bengal Commercial Bank PLC has entered the fifth year of its journey with zero NPL (Non-Performing Loan).

A celebration ceremony marked Tuesday, 11 March 2025, at the bank's head office in Gulshan, Dhaka. As an MSME-oriented bank, it has already opened 32 branches across the country in a short period. Four dedicated Islamic banking branches provide Shariah-based banking services. The bank is progressing with ensuring an A+ credit rating index and modern online banking services. 

Md Jashim Uddin, Chairman of the Bank and President of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) extended his sincere greetings and gratitude to all the clients and well-wishers for standing by the bank on this path of prosperity. Tarik Morshed, managing director and CEO of the bank, expressed his commitment to maintaining the client's trust, confidence, and reliance. K M Awlad Hossain, Additional Managing Director, attended the programme along with Deputy Managing Directors and other High Officials of the Bank.

On the anniversary, the bank organised Iftar Mahfil in festive mode for the branches' clients, patrons, and well-wishers.
