Bank Asia leads initiative to support women entrepreneurs

Bank Asia PLC recently organized a seminar on the Identification of Women Entrepreneurs and Loan Disbursement in the CMSE sector at Jhenaidah Sishu Academy.

As the Chief Guest, Mr S M Hasan Reza, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank's Khulna Office, graced the occasion. Mr Sheikh Shahriar Rahman, Additional Director from Bangladesh Bank's Khulna office, attended as a distinguished guest.

Mr Shaminoor Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President of Bank Asia, presided over the seminar. Senior officials from other banks, branch managers, and credit officers across Jhenaidah district also participated. A total of 43 women entrepreneurs attended the event, during which Tk. 81.20 million in loans were disbursed to support their businesses.
