Bangladesh’s largest commercial expo village, ICCB Expo inaugurated

Bangladesh's largest commercial expo village, 'ICCB Expo Village', was inaugurated today at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital.

This expansive village features an Expo Tent spanning a massive 134,000 square feet. This fully air-conditioned, multi-purpose venue can accommodate a wide range of events under one roof, including fairs, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, AGMs, corporate retreats, concerts, weddings, and bike and car shows. With a capacity to host over 10,000 people simultaneously, it is Bangladesh's most significant gathering space.

The inaugural event at the ICCB Expo Village is a three-day international exhibition showcasing the building and construction, timber and woodworking, and electrical products industries. Jointly organised by ASK Trade and Exhibitions Private Limited and Futurex Trade Fair & Events Private Limited, this exhibition brings together nearly 100 domestic and international companies to display thousands of products.

Sponsored by the SafeWay Group, this year's event features three separate exhibitions: the 8th Bangladesh Buildcon International Expo, Bangladesh Wood Expo 2025, and the 3rd International Electrical Trade Show, Bangladesh Elprotec Expo 2025.

The opening ceremony of the ICCB Expo Village was attended by Mr. M.M. Jasim Uddin (Chief Operating Officer, ICCB), Mr S M  Monirul Islam Palash (Head of Accounts, Finance & Operations, ICCB), Engineer Mohammad Abu Sadeque, Executive Director of the Centre for Housing and Building Research (HBRC), and Tipu Sultan Bhuyan, Managing Director of ASK Trade Show & Exhibitions Private Limited, the organising company.

The Expo Village has ample parking facilities, 24/7 CCTV surveillance, and robust security measures. It also features four large compartments that can host multiple events simultaneously. The Expo Village will remain open throughout the year to accommodate various events.
