Bangladesh Yarn, Fabrics and Accessories Show begins Thursday
The 13th Bangladesh Yarn, Fabrics and Accessories Show 2026 will begin at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka on Thursday, bringing together local and international suppliers serving the country's readymade garment sector.
The four-day international trade show, being held concurrently with Bangladesh TEXCHEM, will enable garment manufacturers to source yarn, fabrics, accessories and textile chemicals, according to a press release.
Organised by ASK Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, the exhibition will feature more than 150 overseas companies alongside Bangladeshi businesses showcasing their latest yarn, fabrics, garment accessories and chemicals.
Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association President Mohammad Hatem will attend the inauguration as chief guest.
The event is aimed at garment manufacturers and exporters, buying houses, fabric importers, and yarn and fabric processors, enabling them to connect with overseas suppliers in Bangladesh.
ASK Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd Managing Director Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan said access to new products, innovations and suppliers was crucial for garment exporters because fabric sourcing was a dynamic process.
He said the 13th edition of the exhibition, featuring a pavilion from CHEMEXCIL India, aimed to provide businesses with access to new sourcing opportunities.
Products on display will include coloured spun yarn, blended yarn for woven and knitted garments, knitted and woven fashion fabrics, plush fabrics, TR suiting fabrics, wool suiting fabrics, printed fashion fabrics, knitted functional sports fabrics, home fabrics and toy fabrics.
The exhibition will also feature post-processing products and services, including hot stamping, embroidery, composites, films and flocking, as well as a range of garment accessories.
The show will remain open to business visitors from 11am to 7pm throughout the four days.
