The 11th Al-Arafah Islami Bank Bangladesh Junior Science Olympiad began in July, followed by online selection rounds in August and September involving around 17,000 students. After six regional rounds, an e-Olympiad, and 10 upazila-level school Olympiads, the national round and residential camp were held in Dhaka, from which the final team was chosen.
Over the past decade, Bangladesh has won 15 silver and 24 bronze medals at the IJSO.
