The Bangladesh Monitor launches 2nd edition of Bangladesh travel, tourism and hospitality awards

The Bangladesh Monitor, the country's premier travel trade publication, has launched the second edition of the Bangladesh Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Awards (BTTHA 2025).
First introduced in 2024 as Bangladesh's pioneering award programme in the sector, the BTTHA recognises excellence, innovation, and leadership across the nation's growing travel, tourism, and hospitality industries. The awards celebrate organisations and individuals who are setting new benchmarks in service quality and professionalism.
The 2025 edition will include a wide range of categories, covering hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism service providers, and tour operators. Special individual awards will also be presented, such as Best Hotelier, Best Restaurateur, Best Entrepreneur in the Hospitality Industry, and Best Tour Guide.
Entries will be evaluated by a distinguished Jury Board, which will prepare a shortlist of nominees in each category. The shortlisted entries will then be opened for both industry and public voting online to ensure transparency and wider engagement.
Commenting on the initiative, Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor of The Bangladesh Monitor, said: "The BTTHA Awards are designed to recognise and inspire stakeholders in Bangladesh's tourism and hospitality sector to continuously raise standards of service and professionalism. Encouraged by the overwhelming response to the inaugural edition, we are confident that the 2025 programme will generate even greater enthusiasm and participation."
Organisations and individuals are invited to submit their entries in the relevant categories. Full details regarding eligibility, submission guidelines, and timelines are available on the official website.
With its second edition, BTTHA 2025 aims to become a landmark celebration of Bangladesh's travel, tourism, and hospitality excellence, showcasing the sector's best achievements to domestic and international audiences.
