Bangladesh Commerce Bank conducts 27th annual meeting
The 27th Annual General Meeting of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited (BCBL) was held on 27 September 2025 through a digital platform.
Mr Md Ataur Rahman, chairman of the board of directors of BCBL, presided over the meeting. Board members Mr Md Mohashin Miah, Mr Kamrul Hoque Maruf and Mr Shaikh Ashafuzzaman FCA, as well as Managing Director and CEO (CC) Mr Mohammad Ziaul Karim, were present. Company Secretary Mr Md Omar Faruk Bhuiyan and divisional heads also attended.
The AGM approved the bank's audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024, along with the directors' and auditors' reports, the status sheet as of that date, and the appointment and remuneration of auditors for 2025.

A significant number of shareholders participated spontaneously in the meeting, which also discussed business issues and action plans for the coming year.
The managing director and CEO expressed his gratitude and best wishes to the shareholders and participants. The chairman then declared the meeting closed.
