Bangladesh Bank approves new board members for Community Bank
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has announced that Bangladesh Bank has approved the appointment of six new directors and three independent directors to its Board.
The new directors are: A K M Awlad Hossain, Additional Inspector General (Admin), Bangladesh Police; Md Akram Hossain, BPM, Additional Inspector General (Finance), Bangladesh Police; Abu Naser Mohammed Khaled, BPM, Additional Inspector General (HRM), Bangladesh Police; Md Sibgat Ullah, BPM, PPM, Additional Inspector General (CID), Bangladesh Police; Sarder Nurul Amin, BPM, Additional Inspector General (Development), Bangladesh Police; and Md Kamrul Ahsan, Deputy Inspector General (Confidential), Bangladesh Police.
The new independent directors are: Dr Md Morshed Hasan Khan, Professor, Department of Marketing, University of Dhaka; Syed Rafiqul Haq, former Additional Managing Director, Mutual Trust Bank; and Mohammed Tofazzul Hussain, FCA, Managing Partner, Amin Hossain & Co, Chartered Accountants.
