Apex, bKash offer gifts, discounts on digital payments
Apex, one of the country's leading footwear retailers, and bKash, the largest mobile financial services provider, have launched a new campaign offering gifts and discounts for customers making payments through bKash at Apex outlets nationwide and via its online platform.
The campaign aims to enhance convenience and reward shoppers with secure digital payments across Apex's network of 342 outlets and its online store.
The agreement was signed recently at the Apex head office in Gulshan, Dhaka.
Apex Chief Executive Officer Firoze Mohammad and Head of Marketing Md Raihan Kabir attended the signing ceremony.
bKash Chief Commercial Officer Ali Ahmmed, Head of Merchant Payments Faisal Shaheed, and Vice President of Merchant Payments SM Khaled Bin Halim were present, along with other senior officials from both organisations.
During the Football World Cup season, customers have the chance to win a jersey autographed by national football team player Hamza Choudhury.
Customers become eligible for the offer by making a bKash payment of more than Tk3,000 on shoes, sandals, bags or T-shirts from the lifestyle brand "Sprint".
Up to 20 customers each per day can win a jersey during the campaign, which continues until 8 July 2026. Each customer can avail the offer once during the campaign period.
As the exclusive payment partner of the "Apex School Smart Campaign", bKash users are receiving a five percent discount on selected products when paying with bKash.
The two companies said they plan to introduce further payment offers for customers throughout the year.
Beyond gifts and discounts, bKash payments at Apex also provide a collateral-free loan facility called "Pay-Later", enabling customers to make purchases even without sufficient balance in their bKash accounts at the time of payment.
The bKash app also enables users to make payments through linked Visa cards. Customers can add money to their bKash accounts from banks and cards using the "Add Money" feature.
