Al-Arafah Islami Bank board reviews business performance
At its 465th meeting on Thursday, the Board of Directors of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC reviewed the bank's overall business performance and took several policy decisions.
Badiur Rahman, chairman of the Board of Directors, presided over the meeting at the bank's head office, according to a press release.
Alhajj Liakat Ali Chowdhury, vice-chairman, and directors Alhajj Khalilur Rahman, Alhajj Salim Rahman, Mahbub Ahmed, Alhajj Hafez Md Enayetullah, Alhaz Ahamedul Hoque, Alhajj Mohammad Abdus Salam, Engr Kh Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Alhajj Md Rafiqul Islam, Alhajj Anwar Hossain, Khwaja Shahriar, Md Shahin Ul Islam, Md Abdul Wadud and Mohammad Asraful Hassan FCA attended the meeting.
Mohammad Anisur Rahman, observer and director of the Islamic Banking Regulation and Policy Department at Bangladesh Bank, along with Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan, managing director; Mohammad Moniruzzaman FCA, company secretary; and senior executives of the bank, were also present.
