AIUB leadership attends QS India summit to boost global engagement
American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) participated in the QS India Summit 2026, held in Goa, India, from 1 to 3 February 2026, as part of its international engagement and higher education collaboration efforts.
AIUB was represented by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Saiful Islam and Abu Mia Akanda, head of the public relations office.
The summit brought together university leaders, policymakers, academics and global education experts to discuss emerging trends, challenges and opportunities in higher education, including internationalisation, quality assurance, innovation and global rankings.
AIUB said its participation included discussions and networking sessions aimed at strengthening regional and international partnerships, sharing best practices and enhancing institutional visibility.
The university said the presence of its leadership at the summit reflects its focus on academic excellence, global connectivity and continuous improvement in teaching, research and institutional development.
AIUB said its participation also reflects its efforts to align with international standards and contribute to regional and global higher education discourse.
