Air Arabia’s regional head meets CAAB chairman

Mr Rajesh Narula, Regional Head of Air Arabia, paid a courtesy call on Air Vice Marshal Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), at the CAAB headquarters today.
The meeting centred on strengthening ongoing collaboration in the aviation sector, exploring future opportunities, and enhancing passenger services. The CAAB Chairman urged Air Arabia to consider launching flights from Sylhet Osmani International Airport in the near future and encouraged the airline to explore operations from Cox's Bazar Airport, which is set to be upgraded to international standards.
Mr Narula expressed strong interest in commencing flights from Sylhet and confirmed Air Arabia's intention to operate from Cox's Bazar once the airport meets the requisite international operational standards. Air Vice Marshal Bhuiyan welcomed the initiative warmly and assured Air Arabia of full support in facilitating these developments.
The discussion was attended by senior officials from both Air Arabia and CAAB, signalling a promising path ahead for the country's aviation connectivity.
