Agreement signed between Bangladesh Bank and Community Bank
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank to join the Small Enterprise Refinance Scheme for Women Entrepreneurs, expanding access to finance for women-led enterprises nationwide.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday, 6 August 2025, at the central bank's Jahangir Alam Conference Centre in the presence of Nurun Nahar, deputy governor, and Husne Ara Shikha, executive director of Bangladesh Bank.
Nawshad Mustafa of Bangladesh Bank and Kimiwa Saddat of Community Bank signed and exchanged the agreement.
