ACI, GoodWe partner to expand solar and energy storage solutions
GoodWe Bangladesh has entered into an official partnership with ACI Renewable Energy, marking a significant milestone in the nation's renewable energy journey.
The partnership was formalised at a grand ceremony held at ACI Centre on 1 November 2025.
The collaboration aims to accelerate Bangladesh's transition towards clean and sustainable power through advanced solar and energy storage technologies.
The event was attended by Mr Subrata Ranjan Das, Managing Director of ACI Renewable Energy; Engr Asif Uddin, Chief Business Officer; Mr Asif Faisal Rumy, Deputy Business Director; and Mr Tanvir Ahmed Tanim, Senior Product Manager of ACI Renewable Energy.
Representing GoodWe Technologies Co Ltd were Mr James Hou, Head of Sales (Asia Pacific Region); Mr Jing Liu, Product Manager (C&I Energy Storage); Mr Brad, Senior Solution Manager; and Mr Mahir Shahriar, Country Manager – Bangladesh.
Senior officials from ACI Group, along with representatives from engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms and renewable energy professionals from across the country, were also present.
GoodWe Technologies Co Ltd, a globally recognised provider of solar inverter and energy storage solutions operating in over 100 countries, has earned multiple awards for its innovation and product reliability.
Through this partnership, ACI Renewable Energy and GoodWe will work together to promote industrial, residential and community-level solar adoption — aligning with Bangladesh's Smart Bangladesh vision by enabling efficient, stable and eco-friendly energy systems.
Speakers at the event highlighted the partnership's potential to transform Bangladesh's renewable energy sector and strengthen its progress towards energy independence and sustainability.
