AAUB holds 17th academic council meeting

The 17th Academic Council meeting of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB) was held on 11 August at its Dhaka campus, chaired by Vice Chancellor Air Vice Marshal A K M Manirul Bahar, OSP, BSP, ndc, hdmc, afwc, psc, ADWC.
In his opening remarks, the Vice Chancellor commended ongoing efforts to transform AAUB into a world-class institution and described the council as a creative forum shaping national progress. He stressed combining human values with technological excellence, modernising the curriculum, adopting advanced teaching methods, and expanding research to meet international standards.
He also highlighted recent initiatives, including strengthening industry-academia partnerships, expanding research-based education, and offering expeditionary training opportunities to prepare students for real-world challenges.
The meeting reviewed and approved agenda items, with participation from representatives of the Bangladesh Air Force, MIST, BATC, BMU, CAAB, and AAUB members.
