23rd AGM held by Premier Leasing and Finance Limited

The 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Premier Leasing and Finance Limited was held on Thursday, 25 September 2025, at the Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) Bhaban in Kakrail, Dhaka.

At the meeting, shareholders approved the company's financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024.

The AGM was presided over by Mr Md Ashekur Rahman, chairman of the company. Ms Husne Ara Shikha, executive director of Bangladesh Bank and administrator of PLFL, joined the meeting virtually. Independent director and chairman of the audit committee Mr SM Zahir Uddin Haider FCMA, independent directors Mr Abduhu Ruhul Masih, Mr Md Reaz Hasan, Ms Shirin Akhter and Brig Gen (retd) Tushar Kanti Chakma ndc, psc were present.

Also in attendance were Engr M Rabiul Huq, director and vice-chairman; Engr AZM Akramul Haq and Mr ASM Feroz Alam, sponsors and former chairmen of the company. Sponsors and former directors Mr Md Nasiruddin Choudhury, Mr Juned Ahmed and Mr Md Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, along with sponsor Mr Nikhil Kumar Saha, joined virtually.

Mr AKM Mohitul Haq FCA, senior partner of Ahmed Zaker and Co, chartered accountants and auditors of the company, and Mr AKM Mushfiqur Rahman FCS, director of independent scrutiniser Suriya Parveen and Associates, were also present.

Executive vice president and company secretary, and managing director (CC) Mr Subash Chandra Moulick FCS, and vice president and CFO Mr Syed Monir Hossain attended the meeting along with a good number of shareholders. Mr Subash Chandra Moulick conducted the proceedings.
