Cost of local cosmetics to go up

The cost of the locally manufactured cosmetics will go up as the Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal proposed increase on supplementary duty by five percent.

Previous supplementary duty on cosmetics was five percent.

Mustafa Kamal placed the Tk568,000 crore budget for fiscal year 2020-21 in parliament today.
