UCB signs MoU with BEZA to open branch at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib industrial city

United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) signed memorandum of understanding (Mou) with Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) to establish a bank branch at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar.

The MoU was signed in a signing ceremony organised at the BEZA headquarters on Wednesday, said a UCB press release.

Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority Paban Chowdhury, Managing Director of UCB Mohammed Shawkat Jamil; Deputy Managing Director of UCB N Mustafa Tarek, Habibur Rahman and ATM Tahmiduzzaman; Executive Vice Presidents of UCB Md Sekander-E-Azam, Md Khirkil Nowaz; Executive Member, Planning and Development at  BEZA Mohammed Erfan Sharif; Executive Member, Administration and Finance at BEZA Abdul Azim Chowdhury; Executive Member, Investment Promotion at BEZA Md Ali Ahsan; Secretary of the BEZA Executive Board Md Shoab; General Manager (Investment Promotion) at BEZA Md Moniruzzaman, General Manager (Administration and Finance) at BEZA Mohammad Hasan Arif and Joint Secretary, General Manager (Planning and Development) at BEZA Doyananda Debnath were present at the event.
