Bangladesh's forex reserves stand at $29.81b

Bangladesh's total foreign exchange reserves stood at $29.81 billion as of this evening (6 April), confirmed Bangladesh Bank (BB) Spokesperson and Executive Director Arief Hossain Khan.
Addressing journalists tonight, the spokesperson noted that the reserve figure remains unchanged from the level recorded in April, which was also $29.81 billion.
Foreign exchange reserves have begun declining, falling to $29.29 billion on 29 March after a slight rise from higher Eid remittances.
