Over 100 flights to operate from Dubai as Emirates runs reduced schedule
Emirates has confirmed it is operating a reduced flight schedule until further notice following the partial reopening of regional airspace for commercial flights.
In a media statement issued today (5 March), the Dubai-based airline said the move was aimed at ensuring the safe conduct of flights as airspace availability gradually improves.
For 5 and 6 March, more than 100 flights are scheduled to depart from Dubai and return, carrying passengers travelling to their final destinations as well as essential cargo such as perishables and pharmaceuticals.
The airline said it would gradually rebuild its flight schedule depending on airspace availability and the fulfilment of all operational requirements.
"Safety is always our top priority," the airline said in the statement.
Emirates added that it is continuing to closely monitor the situation and adjust operations as necessary.
Passengers have been advised to travel to the airport only if they have a confirmed booking.
Customers were also urged to check the airline's official website and social media channels for the latest updates on flight operations.
