Dhaka Airport limits passenger drop-off, pick-up to 2 companions
Passenger vehicles may stop at entry and exit gates for a maximum of two minutes

The authorities at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport limited the number of people accompanying passengers to bid farewell or welcome them in the airport area.
Today (10 August), the airport authorities announced new measures aimed at ensuring smooth passenger movement, reducing traffic congestion, and enhancing security within the airport premises.
According to the announcement, no more than two people will be allowed to accompany passengers to bid farewell or welcome them in the airport area, specifically at the departure driveway and arrival canopy.
This restriction, however, does not apply to the interior of the terminal building.
To ensure uninterrupted travel for passengers, visitors have been asked to leave the airport premises promptly after dropping off or receiving passengers.
Furthermore, all passenger vehicles will be allowed to stop at the airport's entry and exit gates for a maximum of two minutes only.
The airport authorities have also requested that waste be disposed of only in designated bins, and that all visitors and passengers conduct themselves in an orderly manner and extend necessary cooperation during their time at the airport.
