Newborn named after Bulbul in Khulna
Both the baby and her mother Honufa Begum are in good condition now.
A baby girl was born in Mongla cyclone shelter during the severe cyclonic storm Bulbul.
Honufa Begum gave birth to the baby girl at ATC Government Primary School in Mithakhali area under Mongla upazila of Bagerhat on Sunday morning.
Her father Bayezid Shikder named her Bulbuli - after the cyclone Bulbul.

"Both the baby and her mother Honufa Begum are in good condition now," Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Mongla Md Rahat Mannan said.
The upazila administration will give the family Tk20,000, he added.
According to sources, birth of babies in cyclone shelters and naming them after the names of cyclones are not new.
In 2018, a baby was born in Dacope upazila of Khulna during the severe storm "Fani". She was named Fani Akhter.
