ISDE distributes food, disinfectant to 700 jobless families
Integrated Social Development Effort has distributed the relief kits to families most affected by the pandemic in Cox’s Bazar
To ensure the food security of underprivileged and unemployed people, Integrated Social Development Effort (ISDE) has distributed emergency relief kits to 700 jobless families in Cox's Bazar, in collaboration with World Jewish Relief (WJR), a British charitable organisation.
Families from Rohingya camp 14, Chakaria, Chringa, B M Char, East Boro Veola, and Kaiyarbil have received the aid.
For each family, the emergency relief kit includes: 25 kilogrammes of rice, two kilogrammes of lentil, five kilogrammes of potato, two litres of soybean oil, two kilogrammes of onion, one kilogramme of salt, 200 grammes of chili powder, 100 grammes of turmeric powder, 500 grammes of ginger, two soaps, and two masks.

During the distribution, the executive director of ISDE, along with other officials from the organisation, UP chairmen in their respective areas, and local dignitaries were present.
ISDE Bangladesh is currently working alongside the government to distribute emergency food relief and disinfectant among 2,000 families of the Chakaria and Ukhia upazilas of Cox's Bazar.
To raise awareness about the Covid-19 pandemic, information leaflets are being distributed and banners and festoons are being put up. Handwashing basins are also being installed in public places.
