Gono Forum MP Mokabbir tests positive for Covid-19
He is still at the intensive care unit (ICU) in the capital’s Combined Military Hospital, where he got admitted with respiratory problems on Monday
A day after being hospitalised with breathing problems, Gono Forum lawmaker from Sylhet-2 constituency Mokabbir Khan has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
His test result for Covid-19 came positive this afternoon, said Kayes Mia, the personal assistant of Mokabbir Khan, who is a presidium member of the political party Gono Forum.
"MP Mokabbir is doing well," said Kayes adding, "He is feeling much better now.

He was elected as a member of parliament for the first time from Sylhet-2 constituency in the eleventh parliamentary election held on December 30. He vied for the election as the candidate of the National Unity Front with the party symbol of the Gono Forum, the Rising Sun.
