Fees for Covid-19 test at private facilities revised

The Health Services Division has revised the fees for RT-PCR tests of Covid-19 at private healthcare institutes in the country.
As per the revised charges, people living in the country have to pay Tk3,000 for a test if they give samples visiting a hospital or booth. The fee will be Tk3,700 if the samples are collected from home. Earlier the fees were Tk3,500 and 4,500 respectively.
Besides, people intended to go abroad have to pay Tk2,500 for a RT-PCR test after providing samples at a hospital. They have no option to give samples at home. Earlier the charge was Tk3,000.
