Ctg MP Moslem Uddin, 9 family members test Covid-19 positive

Moslem Uddin Ahmed, member of the parliament from constituency-8 (Chandagaon-Boalkhali) in Chattogram, and nine members of his family tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.

Moslem Uddin Ahmed is also the president of Chattogram South District Awami League.

On Tuesday (June 09) samples of 15 family members including Moslem Uddin were collected and tested at Faujdarhat's Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID).

The Chattogram civil Surgeon Office on Wednesday night published the report of the test and found nine family members and Moslem Uddin Ahmed Covid-19 positive.

Earlier, lawmaker from Banshkhali constituency in Chattogram Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury along with six members of his family had tested positive for coronavirus.
