Guardian Life awarded LEED Platinum certification

Guardian Life awarded LEED Platinum certification

Guardian Life Insurance Limited has been recently awarded LEED Platinum certification by the United States Green Building Council.

It is the first private company in Bangladesh to be awarded this prestigious certificate under the category of "Interior Design and Construction."

The official certificate handover program took place at Guardian Life Insurance's head office on Wednesday, said a press release.

Ananta Ahmed, international green building expert, LEED AP and managing director of 360 Total Solution Limited, handed over the certificate to MM Monirul Alam, chief executive officer of Guardian Life.

A Guardian Life official said, "This award will increase our confidence on our way forward. The customers will feel safer to buy a policy from the company."

"As a result, the employees will also get confidence to provide better services," he added. 

Dr M Mosharraf Hossain, chairman (in charge) of Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority, was present as the chief guest and sponsor and patron of Guardian Life. Tapan Chowdhury was present as the special guest at the event.

The company's sponsor Syed Nasim Manzur, directors Syed Akthar Hasan Uddin and David James Howard Griffiths and senior management were also present at the event.
