Govt support sought for ICMAB’s development
ICMAB leaders made the urge during a call on with Financial Institutions Division’s Senior Secretary Md Ashadul Islam

The leaders of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) have sought support from the government for the rapid development of the organisation.
The ICMAB leaders headed by its President Md Jasim Uddin Akand FCMA made the urge during a call on with Md Ashadul Islam, senior secretary to the Financial Institutions Division, at his ministry office on Wednesday.
The ICMAB delegation also discussed national economic issues with the senior secretary, read a press release issued by the ICMAB
At the meeting, the ICMAB president apprised the senior secretary of the present status and activities of the institute.
In his turn, the senior secretary highly appreciated the role of the professional accountants in the economic development of the country and assured them of providing full cooperation for the development of the CMA profession, added the press release.
Among others, President of SAFA AKM Delwer Hussain FCMA and Treasurer Md Ali Haider Chowdhury FCMA were present in the meeting.
