Workers of ex-AL MP Sifuzzaman Shikhor’s factory protest at BGMEA Building over unpaid wages
About 250 workers initiated the blockade at the BGMEA office this morning

A group of workers from Roar Fashion Ltd, owned by former Awami League lawmaker Sifuzzaman Shikhor, blocked the BGMEA Bhaban in Uttara today (24 March), demanding unpaid wages and benefits.
According to BGMEA officials, approximately 1,200 workers of Roar Fashion Ltd, located in Bhaluka of Mymensingh, are owed around three months' wages and service benefits.
About 250 workers initiated the blockade at the BGMEA office this morning, said the officials.
The Business Standard attempted to contact Roar Fashion Managing Director Mamunul Islam for comment but his phone was unreachable at this time.
