Woman found dead in Dhaka’s Hazaribagh
She was found unconscious at her flat around 6am and was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared her dead upon arrival

A 24-year-old woman was found dead at her rented apartment in Dhaka's Hazaribagh area in the early hours today (15 September).
The deceased was Synthia Akhter, daughter of Nazrul Islam from Durgapur upazila in Netrokona district. She was married to Ibrahim Chowdhury over a year.
The couple had been living on the eighth floor of Amla Tower in Jhauchar Bazar for the past 5–6 months.
The victim's family alleged that she was murdered by her husband.
Synthia was found unconscious at her flat around 6am and was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
Her husband Ibrahim Chowdhury has been absconding since the incident.
Synthia's brother Md Rubel said the family received a call saying she was unwell and had been taken to the hospital. "When we reached, she was already dead," he said.
Rubel alleged that Ibrahim is a drug addict and has links to criminal groups.
He had been physically and mentally abusing Synthia since their marriage, he alleged.
"Just yesterday, he pointed a pistol at her and told her to hang herself or he would kill our parents. We are sure that he killed my sister and hanged her," Rubel said.
Inspector Md Farooq, in-charge of the DMCH police camp, said the body has been kept at the hospital morgue.
