Who really wrote Masud Rana? Answer is here
The fans and regular readers of Masud Rana often used to say that Kazi Anowar Hossain only wrote the first couple of books of the series and he is not the real author of the series

The Hill of Destruction (Dhwangso Pahar) was the beginning of Masud Rana's journey as a fan-favourite book series. So far, 460 books of Masud Rana have been released.
The fans and regular readers of Masud Rana often used to say that Kazi Anowar Hossain only wrote the first couple of books of the series and he is not the real author of the series.
While some people may have disagreed with this statement, the Bangladesh Copyright Office removed all the confusion regarding the real author of Masud Rana today.
A writer named Sheikh Abdul Hakim had been fighting over the ownership of the "Masud Rana" character's copyright for more than a year. Finally, the copyright office, in it's verdict today, cleared it out that Sheikh Abdul Hakim is the author of the character.

However, the copyright office also mentioned that Abdul Hakim is getting the copyright for 260 among 460 books of Masud Rana series and 50 of Kuasha series.
"Sheikh Abdul Hakim only had the copyright for one book of Masud Rana series and six book of Kuasha series," Bangladesh Copyright Office's Registrar Zafar Raja Chowdhury said.
"But as Abdul Hakim was able to prove that he is the writer of all other books, he got the copyright for those. He, however, have to apply separately for the ownership of each of those books," Zafar Raja added.
After applying, Abdul Hakim's name will be written as the author in all 260 books of Masud Rana and 50 of Kuasha that he wrote.
However, Zafar Raja also mentioned that Kazi Anowar Hossain, the founder of Seba Prakashani, can still submit an application against this verdict within the next 90 days if he wants to.
