Sheikh Mujib's Dhanmondi 32 residence vandalised

A group of agitated people vandalised and set fire to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's residence at Dhanmondi 32 in the capital tonight (5 February).

The attacks started at around 8:00pm following announcements of a "Bulldozer Procession" on social media. As per the announcements, the procession was scheduled for 9:00pm when Hasina began to address the banned student outfit Chhatra League in a virtual session.
