US secretary of State greets Bangladesh on Independence Day
The US Secretary of State noted that the United States values its longstanding partnership with Bangladesh, anchored in a shared vision for a free, open, secure, and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has congratulated the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of Independence Day, reaffirming Washington's commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and partnership.
In a press statement, Rubio said, "On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of Bangladesh on your Independence Day."
"This commemoration arrives as Bangladesh begins a new chapter in its history, following recent elections," he said.
