US assures long-term cooperation in energy sector

The United States (US) has assured Bangladesh of long-term cooperation in the energy sector during a high-level meeting held in Washington DC.
According to a press release, both sides discussed global supply chain challenges and ways to enhance technological cooperation during the meeting yesterday (11 June).
Bangladesh was represented by State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Anindya Islam Amit, while the US side was led by newly appointed Under Secretary of Energy Kyle Housevitt.
